Press Brake Operator
Requires 1 year prior press brake operating experience and the ability to do set-ups, changeovers and programming the machine. Shift: 1st shift Area:
Erlanger, KY Pay: $19-$24/hr starting range - based on experience and interview
- Must be able to program, set-up and adjust a Press Brake
- Must understand shop math and angles
- Reads prints to select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in fabrication work.
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates press brakes.
- Installs, aligns, and secures tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on Press Brake
- Skilled in hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Forms parts to specifications indicated on prints
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds
- Minimum of three years experience with a CNC hydraulic brake press
- Ability to read, calibrate gauges, select tools, use a protractor, angle finder tape measurer.
- Possesses practical application of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, measurement, practical algebra, and essentials of shop trigonometry
