Position Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for Site production performance with respect to HS&E, on-time delivery, production cost and quality and adherence to the production plan.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day production operations. Plan production to ensure delivery of products on time, to quality and cost
- Ensure effective utilization of production resources and drive productivity improvements
- Manage staff selection, performance and development to ensure requisite competencies and capabilities
- Update and Maintain necessary records/ documents of production work performed including the defined DLA board, ensuring items are escalated as appropriate
- Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with relevant legislation and Company requirements
- Direct Reports: hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
- Indirect Reports: may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
