We are currently seeking Kentucky-credentialed Medication Aides (KMAs) who value teamwork, reliability, and the warm family atmosphere our community is known for.
Important: This role is for Kentucky KMAs only. Ohio Medication Aide credentials, Medical Assistant (MA) credentials, and non‑credentialed “med tech” experience do not qualify for this position.
Position SummaryThe Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA) administers medications and provides resident care within the scope of Kentucky state guidelines. As part of our household‑model care approach, KMAs also routinely assist with STNA‑level duties
, and may be pulled to work as a full STNA for an entire shift during staffing adjustments.
This position is ideal for a reliable and compassionate KMA who enjoys working closely with residents, building relationships, and contributing to a strong, supportive team environment.
Pay & Differentials$20.50–$25.00/hr based on experience
+$1.00/hr weekend differential
+ $3.00/hr medical opt‑out for those who qualify
Total compensation may exceed $29.00/hr with incentives
Day Shift: No shift differential for 7a–7:30p.
Schedule7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Full‑Time or Part‑Time
Every other weekend required
Predictable two‑week repeating schedule
A/B holiday rotation
Administer medications safely and accurately
Document all medication administration in EMR
Observe and report resident changes to nursing staff
Provide STNA‑level care routinely (ADLs, mobility, engagement, etc.)
May be assigned as a full STNA for an entire shift during staffing needs
Support a calm, safe, and respectful resident environment
Collaborate closely with RNs, LPNs, and STNAs in the household model
Lower staff‑to‑resident ratios
Stable, long‑tenured leadership at both facility and organizational levels
