Job Description
The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that all quality standards are achieved for both manufactured and purchased products. This role is responsible for the final point of inspection, maintaining reports and performance metrics, raising quality non‑conformance reports (NCR) and supporting problem resolution processes including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions. The candidate must possess the ability to solve simple problems, provide operable solutions, and act with minimal direction on own initiative.
The role reports directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor within the Fabrication team at the Erlanger, KY Service Center.
Position: 1st shift onsite, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.

Erlanger, KY Service Center.
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approve in‑process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production.
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re‑work, confirming re‑work.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
- Maintain measurement equipment operation and manage calibration systems.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Audit manufacturing processes as required.
- Complete non‑conforming reports with root cause analysis.
- Provide training and guidance to inspectors using best practices.
- 7+ years of fabrication experience.
- Blueprint reading proficiency.
- Certified Weld Inspector preferred.
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or related role.
- Attention to detail and results‑driven approach.
- Familiarity with quality measurement equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and inspection methodologies.
- Dedication to safety procedures while operating equipment.
- Solid computer skills; SAP preferred.

The pay for this position is $28.00 USD per hour. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, education, and work location.
