Merchandiser - Evenings

Position:
Product Merchandiser. Responsible for stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, managing coolers, organizing storage rooms, and moving products to the sales floor in large volume stores. Requires interaction with store personnel.

Physical requirements:

lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds. Must bend, reach, and squat while merchandising. Works a consistent schedule with specific start times.

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products.
• Rotate products in backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products between backroom and shelf location using equipment (U‑boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners.
• Keep backroom stock neat and orderly.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures (scan‑in/scan‑out, designated route, etc.).
• Serve accounts during designated times established by management.
• Provide customer service (communication, rapport building, attentiveness to needs).
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Use hand‑held devices to write/input orders.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.

• 18 years or older.
• Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable).
• Must have car or personal transportation to access multi‑store locations within assigned shift.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Proof of insurance.

• Experience working in a retail or grocery store environment.
• Experience moving products with equipment such as U‑boat, hand truck, etc.
• Experience merchandising products (filling shelves, building displays, rotating products, clearing out-of-stock items).
• Experience managing backroom/stock room inventory.
• Experience serving customers.

Mileage reimbursement is provided for positions requiring a personal vehicle for a sales route.
