GSE Powered Technician; A3, 3rd shift

Key responsibilities

• Safety‑first approach to conducting work.
• Use a full complement of personal hand tools and furnish hand tools up to 1/2” drive.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment and components.
• Apply excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Operate a variety of equipment required for job function.
• Wear applicable personal protective equipment and follow lockout/tag-out program regulations.
• Show detail‑orientation, be a self‑starter with a positive attitude.
• Report to work regularly and complete scheduled tasks consistently.
• Interact with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of service and repair of diesel‑powered equipment.
• Knowledge of service and repair of mobile HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of complex hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of service and repair of electrical systems.
• Ability to weld.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders frequently.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments, including inclement weather.
• Ability to stand for long durations.
