GSE Maintenance A3 Mechanic

Location:

Erlanger, KY hub (CVG airport). The role provides preventative maintenance, daily scheduled work, and urgent repairs on ground support equipment.

• Safety first focused approach to conducting work
• Possess a full complement of personal hand tools and ability to furnish hand tools up to 1/2" drive
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment and components
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers to diagnose and repair equipment
• Operate a large assortment of equipment in their job function
• Wear applicable personal protective equipment and follow lockout/tag out program rules and regulations
• Detail oriented, self‑starter with a positive attitude
• Report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday consistently
• Understand and interact with a computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of service and repair of diesel powered equipment
• Knowledge of service and repair of mobile HVAC systems
• Knowledge of service and repair of complex hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of service and repair of electrical systems
• Ability to weld
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Able to work well individually and in a team setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs regularly
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, frequently at times
• Must be able to work at heights
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments, including inclement weather
• Must be able to stand for long durations
