GSE Maintenance A3 Technician – Erlanger, KY (CVG Airport)
Role
Summary:
Provide preventative maintenance, scheduled work, and immediate repairs on ground support equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Safety first focused approach to conducting work.
- Use full complement of personal hand tools including 1/2” drive.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment and components.
- Apply excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Operate a large assortment of equipment in the job function.
- Wear applicable personal protective equipment and follow lockout/tag out program rules.
- Be detail oriented, self‑starter with a positive attitude.
- Report to work regularly, timely, and complete the scheduled workday consistently.
- Operate within a computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of service and repair of diesel powered equipment.
- Knowledge of service and repair of mobile HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of service and repair of complex hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of service and repair of electrical systems.
- Ability to weld.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Ability to work well individually and in a team setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Lift up to 70 lbs regularly.
- Climb stairs and ladders frequently.
- Work at heights.
- Work in hot and cold environments, including inclement weather.
- Stand for long durations.
Location: Erlanger, KY (CVG Airport) – travel Less than 0%.
