Senior WMS Software Implementation Consultant

What You Will Do

• Act as the subject matter expert on the customer software platform applications across multiple end‑clients.
• Train consultants in the best practice use and implementation methodology of the software platform.
• Analyze and find solutions for escalated decisions, risks, issues and change requests during the day‑to‑day interactions with the client and project team.
• Manage end‑client expectations to increase perception of competence, skill, and customer focus of the software project team.
• Manage end‑client expectations to increase perception of value in the software applications to their business and profitability.
• Mentor and develop consultants to grow their skills with applying software applications in their specific end‑client’s warehouse operations.
• Ensure project teams follow the specific software implementation methodology to meet and exceed expectations of end‑clients concerning functionality, timeline and budget.
• Provide suggested improvements to the software implementation methodologies to improve impact on profitability.
• Perform excellent requirements gathering to collect and interpret all necessary information, including technical requirements for implementations.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics preferred.
• Previous software implementation experience with WMS, WES, WCS or similar applications.
• Previous consulting experience working with and leading customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheets and Azure Dev Ops.
• Keen attention to detail with strong follow‑through skills.
• Disciplined, self‑starter with the ability to multi‑task and work autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relay information in a timely manner, especially during requirements gathering.
• Ability to decipher application output error logs.
• Knowledge to read and develop SQL is preferred.

$75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job‑related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.

• You must be able to commute to and from the locations with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Some weekend or night work required as needed.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Occasional climbing on steps, scaffolding, and/or mezzanines.
• Seated in, operating, or driving a vehicle for long periods of time.
• Using a computer for long periods of time.
• Working in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.
• Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended limits.

Due to the nature of the work, there may be travel up to 70% of the time.
