Position:
Non-CDL Driver – Erlanger, KY

Start time 8 AM with opportunity for overtime. Full benefits package with 15 days of PTO. Position is safety sensitive.

• Understand and comply with all State, Federal, CDL, DOT, and TSA regulations
• Check-in with dispatch daily for assigned pickup/delivery route
• Operate vehicle to transport materials to and from in a safe and efficient manner
• Present yourself in a clean and professional manner at all times
• Identify pilot including  or required pilot apparel
• Perform inspection of the assigned unit and complete all required paperwork
• Ensure equipment is kept in proper repair and working order
• Clean and secure assigned units and the end of shift
• Complete DOT logs if required
• Load and unload freight from truck utilizing the proper equipment and securing for transit when necessary
• Check for and notate/communicate damages/shortages or other exceptions
• Maintain communication with dispatch, and promptly report all delays
• Use driver’s application for all pickups and deliveries
• Verify all freight corresponds to paperwork
• Assist and apply additional packing to shipments when needed
• Assist in the warehouse if needed
• Work variable hours, including weekends and overtime
• Clock in/out daily (including lunch breaks) and maintain lunch/break schedule independently
• Perform other duties assigned by the Cartage Supervisor

• Clean motor vehicle record
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret maps
• Strong knowledge of roadways in immediate and surrounding areas
• Ability to read and understand tariff signs and signals
• Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, and other documents
• Basic PC skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Discerning numbers and information
• Ability to manage deadlines
• Use of dock equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, banding/shrink wrap

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification
• Valid driver’s license with proper class and endorsements (hazard endorsements preferred)
• Valid medical card (or ability to provide one)
• Acceptable driving record per DOT/TSA regulations

• Minimum one year of verifiable driving experience in the industry and in the type of vehicle that will be driven
• Minimum 22 years of age
• CDL B is a plus

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend, and lift objects above head
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds, use pallet jacks and forklifts
• Regular use of phone and PC, reading and writing shipping documents

$18–23 per hour, starting salary range. Final salary will be negotiated in accordance with applicable laws.
