The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations with primary accountability for inventory accuracy, ecommerce fulfillment, and wholesale order execution. This role ensures efficient product flow from receiving through shipping, maintains high inventory integrity, and drives productivity, accuracy, and service levels across all channels.
Operational Leadership- Supervise and lead warehouse associates across inventory, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping functions
- Set daily priorities and allocate labor to meet ecommerce and wholesale volume demands
- Monitor productivity, quality, and service levels to ensure orders ship on time and in full
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members
- Enforce safety standards and company policies
- Oversee cycle counts, location audits, and full physical inventories
- Maintain high inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies, shortages, and variances
- Reconcile inventory adjustments in the WMS/ERP system
- Ensure proper product slotting, labeling, storage, and handling procedures
- Partner with receiving to ensure accurate inbound processing
- Oversee order fulfillment processes for ecommerce and wholesale channels
- Ensure adherence to retailer routing guides, labeling standards, and compliance requirements
- Monitor pick accuracy, packing standards, and outbound quality control
- Meet SLA and KPIs and identify and eliminate challenges impacting performance
- Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to resolve order or shipment issues
- Track and report on KPIs including:
- Inventory accuracy
- Order accuracy
- Productivity per labor hour
- Shrink and adjustments
- Analyze trends and implement process improvements to reduce errors and improve efficiency
- Drive cost discipline through proper labor alignment and workflow optimization
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Experience supporting ecommerce and/or wholesale fulfillment operations
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse flow principles
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift/cherry picker preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active warehouse environment
- Full-time; schedule may include evenings, weekends, or overtime based on business needs
- Experience in multi-channel fulfillment (ecommerce + retail/wholesale)
- Experience managing cycle count programs
- Forklift or cherry picker certification
- Experience working with retailer compliance requirements (routing, labeling, ASN, etc.)
