Van Aire Inc. in Gladstone is hiring a Wastewater Welding Fabricator for first shift (Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM). This position involves MIG and TIG welding, fabrication, and assembly of wastewater equipment.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- TIG pipe and MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to pass welding certification tests (AWS/ASME)
- Ability to meet physical requirements
- Pump and motor alignment experience
- Stainless steel welding experience
- MIG and TIG weld stainless and carbon steel
- Read blueprints and follow specifications
- Fit, tack, weld, and assemble components
- Inspect weld quality
- Use shop tools and fabrication equipment
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Occasional travel required to assist on installations or service
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods
- Climb ladders and work in tight spaces
