Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties is seeking a dedicated and experienced nursing professional to serve as our full-time Nursing Director. The Nursing Director provides leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic guidance to nursing staff and program coordinators in the development and delivery of community health programs, policies, and objectives. This position carries director-level responsibility and authority for the professional and technical personnel who provide public and community health services.
The Director exercises independent judgment and initiative in planning, directing, and evaluating the quality, effectiveness, and scope of services provided. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare, or business management required; master’s degree preferred.
- Three years of public health nursing experience preferred.
- Current adult, child, and infant CPR certification recognized by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Current valid driver’s license.
