Support Lead Part Time

At Five Below we seek a dedicated Store Manager to lead a high‑energy team and deliver excellent customer service. All responsibilities and qualifications are summarized below.

• Ensure all crew members wow customers through personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience and oversee daily store activities.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening or closing procedures, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring all in place for smooth operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.

• High school graduate or equivalent. College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multi‑tasking ability and creative thinking.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs up to a height of 5‑10 feet.
• Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Communicate and exchange information with customers via telephone and in person.
• Assist customers across the sales floor and retrieve/put away merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts, and occasional travel as required.
• Read email and print instructions for merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Remain in stationary upright position for 80% of time.
