Junior Accountant
A growing healthcare services organization in Escondido is adding a Junior Accountant to its accounting department. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who wants hands-on experience with reconciliations, journal entries, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end close.
You'll work closely with experienced accounting professionals and have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities as you become more comfortable with the company's systems and processes.
Responsibilities- Prepare basic journal entries and accounting transactions
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger documentation
- Assist with Accounts Payable invoice processing
- Post customer payments and assist with Accounts Receivable
- Prepare account reconciliation schedules
- Assist with monthly close activities
- Research discrepancies and correct accounting information
- Maintain organized financial records
- Assist with recurring financial reports and spreadsheets
- Support audits and special accounting projects
