Role Description The Office Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Escondido, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing daily office operations, including managing administrative tasks, AP, AR, payroll, customer service, account reconciliation, organizing records and files, and maintaining office supplies and equipment. The Office Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for internal staff and visitors, support customer inquiries, and ensure smooth communication across departments.
Day-to-day responsibilities also include assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks, preparing reports, supporting HR-related documentation, and implementing office policies and procedures. The person in this role is expected to maintain a professional, welcoming office environment and contribute to efficient workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with team members, customers, and vendors.
- Experience with basic accounting procedures, account reconciliation and document management.
- Comfort with Office Equipment, including printers, copiers, phones, and basic troubleshooting of common office tools.
- HR skills including new employee onboarding, preparing employee reviews and managing open enrollment is a plus.
- Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a positive experience for visitors and clients.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and calendar applications).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Escondido, CA, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business administration or related fields is a plus.
