Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Superintendent to oversee and manage a wide range of commercial ground-up remodel and tenant improvement (TI) projects in the construction industry.
Responsibilities- Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring completion within the agreed timeframe and budget.
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of construction projects, including the coordination of material and labor, site safety, quality control, and communication with project stakeholders.
- Leading and motivating the construction team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Liaising with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure all projects are executed to the highest standards.
- Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
- Anticipating and resolving any issues that may affect the timeline, budget, or quality of the project.
- Preparing and presenting progress reports to stakeholders, providing comprehensive updates on project status.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial ground-up remodel and TI projects.
- Extensive experience working on projects in various sectors including grocery, QSR, automotive, retail, TI, remodels, and ground-up construction.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve project goals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Salary: $100,000 - $165,000 per year
