Transfer Position for Classified Employees

The following information applies to current employees of the same classification who wish to transfer site and/or adjust hours for the 2026‑2027 academic year.

• Transfer request form on file with Classified Personnel.
• Serv Safe Certification (must be current and on file with the district).
• Subscribe to an Oath of Allegiance.
• Submit a general tuberculosis examination.
• Be fingerprinted.
• Complete a pre‑placement physical examination.
• Show proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
• Pass drug testing under the district’s drug‑free workplace policy.

Applicants who meet all phases of the application and examination process are ranked on an eligibility list. The list remains effective for one year. The Classified Personnel Director submits the top three certified candidates to the appointing authority, who selects one for appointment.

• Family medical coverage, employee life and vision, employee or family dental coverage for 5+ hours per week.
• Paid holidays (16 for full‑time employees of twelve months).
• Paid sick leave: 12 days per year of service.
• Paid vacation: 12 days per year of service (additional days after 5 years).
• Shift differential for required hours between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m.: 3.75% above base pay.
