Job SummaryAlways ensures Site compliance with Title 5 & Title 22 regulations. Provide direction, administrative support, and training to all staff. Collaborate with families and the community to assure high-quality early childhood education standards - Maintaining a rating of Tier 5.
Summary of essential job functionsEducation:
- Ensure implementation and compliance with all Early Head Start (EHS), Quality Preschool Initiative (QPI), California State Preschool Program (CSPP), and General Child Care and Development (CCTR) education requirements.
- Support and train teachers on all policies and procedures relating to program compliance.
- Monitor and ensure a high quality of delivery for all areas listed below and ensure a Tier 5 QRIS ratings at your program site.
- Provide support, assistance and training to all teaching staff and Assistant Directors.
- Address all levels of concerns from staff and families and ensure compliance with rules and regulations in relation to the field of Early Childhood Education.
- Ensure effective daily operations and oversight including staffing and maintaining classroom ratios.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Child Development or related field or Higher level Degree.
- Ability to attain Site Supervisor Child Development Permit.
- 8 units of Management / Administration OR Administrative Credential
- Ability to work at various locations, as needed
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds to support children
- Ability to bend and squat to interact with children
