Senior Pastor:
New Life Presbyterian Church
We are searching for a Senior Pastor to replace our current Senior Pastor who has been serving in this role for 25 years and will be retiring. The Senior Pastor serves as the primary spiritual leader and teacher of the congregation of approximately 600 members, shepherding the church in accordance with the Scriptures, the Westminster Standards, and the polity of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
He leads the congregation in worship, teaching, discipleship, and mission, working closely with the Session to guide the spiritual direction, health and growth of the congregation.
- Adheres to the plenary inspiration of Scripture.
- Meets the Biblical qualifications for an elder as outlined in I Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
- Pledges to uphold the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms.
- Pledges to abide by the Constitution and Book of Church Order of the PCA.
- Exhibits a deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, characterized by humility, integrity, and prayer.
- Demonstrates gifting and skill in preaching and teaching.
- Is committed to the Reformed expression of the Christian faith and Presbyterian polity.
- Is an ordained Teaching Elder in the PCA or other North American Presbyterian and Reformed Churches (NAPARC) denomination.
- Has obtained a Master of Divinity degree (preferably from a Reformed seminary).
- Has demonstrated ability to lead staff and lay teams collaboratively and strategically.
- Has a deep love for God’s people and enthusiasm for all aspects of intergenerational congregational life.
- Has demonstrated pastoral excellence in verbal and written communications skills, organization, and planning.
- Supports New Life Presbyterian Church’s mission and values.
Full Time
Salary Range$90k+
