Position Summary

Children's Choice is seeking an experienced, caring, and dedicated Lead Infant & Toddler Teacher to join our team in Escondido
. This position is responsible for implementing curriculum, planning developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment, collaborating with families, and providing guidance to assistant teachers.

The ideal candidate meets California Title 22 Infant/Toddler Teacher requirements
, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and is passionate about supporting the growth and development of infants and toddlers in a high-quality early learning environment.

Enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends required.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
    , including:
    • Child Development
    • Child, Family & Community
    • Infant & Toddler
    • One additional Child Development course (Program & Curriculum, Child Health & Safety, etc.)
  • Must meet California Title 22 requirements for Infant & Toddler Teachers.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an infant/toddler, preschool, or early childhood education setting.
  • Ability to pass DSS background clearance.
  • Current Mandated Reporter Certificate.
  • Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and software applications.
