Position Summary:
This position will have set key deliverables for the first 4 month and
thereafter set projects and deliverables for other functional units globally. The role is based in
Escondido, California working under local direction and support.
Essential Functions:

Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements. Develops
project objectives by reviewing project design needs and plans and consulting with Project
Manager.
Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests, assists in design and
expediting of project.
Controls project costs by reviewing cost implications with Project Manager.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Design products using CAD and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to
ensure that designs are feasible.
Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising them on design
specifications and providing physical assistance when required.
Attend weekly team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleagues’
progress, strategize steps for following week and acquire information about projected emerging
product lines.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or higher is required.
5+ Years of experience working with process systems, skids, compressors and fittings
Exposure to Marine industry & class societies is highly desired.
Advance skills in MS Office and Project suites are required.
Experience with large manufacturing sites or construction facilities is preferred.
Time management and Organization skills.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as desktop computers and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Requires ability to use a computer, type on keypad, and answer phones.
