Theme Park Stage Manager

Type of Employment: Seasonal

Location: LEGOLAND® CA (must be local)

Rehearsal Dates: January 5-16

Operational Dates: January 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 31;
February 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16

Salary: $31/hour

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to all performers
  • Leverage theme park stage management experience to lead and supervise staffing, mitigating issues daily
  • Perform duties described in the Company Manager Handbook
  • Act as liaison between RWS leadership and cast
  • Organize and synthesize technical and artistic information from RWS and client
  • Suggest optimal use of available resources and procure additional support as needed
  • Communicate needs to troubleshoot technical and operational logistics with general managers, if applicable
  • Assist RWS leadership and producer with administrative duties for logistics and programming
  • Maintain professional relationships with client management, ensuring all interactions comply with RWS standards
  • Support Raise Your Experience initiatives throughout the season
  • Oversee and manage talent to perform all production elements safely and properly
  • Adhere to all timelines presented by RWS producer and project manager
  • Prepare and submit daily operational reports to the RWS entertainment manager and producer
  • Gain and demonstrate awareness of RWS and venue safety procedures, including emergency action plans, injury & illness prevention plans, accident reporting, and additional protocols
  • Assist with overall production needs as reasonably requested
  • Address onsite concerns ahead of daily operations and perform emergency troubleshooting as needed
  • Account for care and tracking of all performance collateral, ensuring secure storage when not in use
  • Complete all duties to the satisfaction of the company
  • Follow the company chain of command
  • Follow all infectious disease control and safety protocols as required
  • Adhere to all RWS handbook guidelines, including dress codes and codes of conduct
  • Ensure talent signs the daily sign-in sheet and passes it to the entertainment manager by Sunday end of day
  • Ensure talent follows approved show direction and complete warm‑up requirements
  • Perform any additional duties as necessary
