Weekend Day Shift Caregiver at Assisted Living Facility

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend Day Shift Caregiver to join our team at Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community in Escondido, CA. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the weekend day shifts.

SHIFT DAYS AND HOURS ARE - SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social and emotional well-being.
• Administer medications as prescribed and follow care plans accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare team members.

• Previous experience in elderly care or assisted living preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of elderly individuals.
• Valid certification or training in caregiving, CPR, or first aid is a plus.
• Available to work weekend day shifts in Escondido, CA.
