We are seeking a strategic, creative, and performance-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead the property’s marketing vision and execution. This is an opportunity for a hospitality marketing professional who thrives in an energetic, brand-forward environment and understands how to blend storytelling with measurable ROI.
What You’ll DoAs a Senior Marketing Manager, you will serve as the on-property brand champion and strategic driver of awareness, revenue, and guest engagement.
Strategic Leadership & Brand Management- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan with clear, measurable goals
- Manage marketing budgets to maximize impact and ROI
- Lead property marketing meetings and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Revenue, and Corporate Marketing
- Serve as the brand ambassador, ensuring consistency across all guest touchpoints
- Ideate and support innovative guest experiences alongside operational leaders
- Own and execute a dynamic social media content strategy
- Create compelling content (photo, video, storytelling) that captures the energy of the brand
- Manage community engagement with personality and professionalism
- Analyze KPIs and optimize performance across channels
- Develop and manage paid social and digital advertising campaigns
- Oversee newsletters, online listings, digital presence, and reputation management
- Lead on-site activations and marketing collateral execution
- Cultivate local partnerships, sponsor ships, and influencer collaborations
- Coordinate public relations efforts and media outreach
- Represent Hard Rock Hotel San Diego at networking and community events
You may be the ideal candidate if you:
- Bring 2–4 years of marketing experience
, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands - Have hands-on experience managing business social media accounts and paid campaigns
- Understand digital marketing channels, KPIs, and ROI measurement
- Are confident using tools such as Meta Business Manager, Canva, Adobe applications, and email marketing platforms
- Have a creative eye for photography and short-form video content
- Balance big-picture strategy with flawless execution
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments
- Communicate with polish, clarity, and confidence
- Naturally build brand advocacy online and in person
- Bring a hospitality mindset rooted in service, collaboration, and innovation
Hospitality or public relations experience is strongly preferred.
