Job OverviewRyan Refrigeration Heating & Air is seeking an experienced Regional Service Manager to lead and elevate our HVAC/R service operations across Southern California and Arizona. This is a senior‑level leadership role with full ownership of service performance, profitability, technician development, and operational execution.
This is not an administrative position. This role leads from the field, drives measurable outcomes, and sets the operational standard across multiple regions. The Regional Service Manager will be responsible for improving efficiency, increasing first‑time fix rates, developing leaders, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality service delivery across all markets.

Responsibilities- Lead and oversee multi‑region commercial HVAC/R service operations across Southern California and Arizona.
- Manage and mentor Field Service Managers to drive technician performance and accountability.
- Own regional service KPIs, profitability, margins, and operational consistency.
- Improve first‑time fix rates, technician efficiency, and overall customer experience.
- Ensure proper implementation and utilization of Wex CRM and Grocy inventory management systems.
- Establish and enforce technical standards and service best practices.
- Develop training programs to elevate technician skill sets and leadership bench strength.
- Conduct field visits to support teams, assess performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor scheduling, dispatch efficiency, inventory controls, and cost management.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives.
- 10+ years of experience in the HVAC/R industry.
- Proven senior leadership experience with full service department ownership.
- Demonstrated success managing multi‑location service operations.
- Strong technical background in commercial HVAC/R systems.
- KPI‑driven mindset with a track record of improving margins and operational performance.
- Experience implementing or managing CRM and inventory management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Southern California and Arizona.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements.
Base Salary: $130,000–$165,000 per year
Performance Bonus: Up to 25–35% based on service performance metrics
Travel expenses fully covered.
