Licensed Vocational Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Escondido, CA. This is a 2nd shift position (Sunday–Thursday, 3 pm–11 pm) with compensation ranging from $38 to $40 per hour, depending on experience. The LVN provides direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and ensures implementation of physician orders, coordination of medical appointments, and continuity of care for individuals with complex medical needs in an intellectual developmental disability residential program.

• Active LVN/LPN California license in good standing
• Valid driver’s license
• One year of experience in long‑term care, developmental services, or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Implement program policies and procedures in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
• Provide overall medical support to individuals, including scheduling medical appointments and follow‑up as needed.
• Work closely with the Program Director and Administrator to ensure the health and safety of individuals receiving services.
• Provide on‑site medical support to individuals.
• Represent the organization at external meetings, conferences, and other assigned events.
• Maintain knowledge of program regulations and assist in preparation for annual licensure as applicable.
• Maintain frequent communication with family members and external stakeholders as needed.
• Perform other related duties when assigned or required.
