Pay Range: $52.07 – $75.79

• Delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within an assigned unit and day‑to‑day management and supervision of related clinical activities.
• Supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel utilizing professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
• Adhere to California Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, ANA Bill of Rights, and ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards; carry out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.

• Minimum Education:
  
  As required by certification and/or licensure.
• Preferred Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master’s entry in a School of Nursing approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  0–6 months in similar work.
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  American Heart Association‑recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) – Healthcare Provider;
  Radiation Safety within 90 days of hire;
  American Heart Association‑recognized Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

• Knowledge of standard office equipment (calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer/software skills (MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e‑mail).
• Windows computer skills, including keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, drop‑down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying, and similar operations.
• Speak and read English at a level sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
