Job Summary
Red, White, and Blue Thrift® seeks full‑time associates to support retail operations. The role demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Medical benefits begin after 90 days of employment.
Pay Range$16.90 to $17.90 per hour.
Facilities Associate Responsibilities- Unload and load trailers
- Operate a trash compactor
- Operate a baling machine
- Perform janitorial duties
- Pre‑sort donations
- Sort, price, hang, tag, and attach sensors to items
- Distribute merchandise to the shop floor
- Cashier duties
- Assist customers in the sales floor
- Act as Donation Center attendant
- Box Truck Driver
- Dispatcher
- Supervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer‑facing roles is preferred, but not required
- Capable of safely performing essential job functions and meeting productivity requirements
- Occasionally lift and carry 40–70 lbs; frequently exert up to 25 lbs of force
- Stand for extended periods
- Perform repetitive motions with hands and fingers
- Maintain balance and agility, prevent falls on uneven surfaces
- Have visual acuity of 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Dynamic, consistently busy atmosphere – fast‑paced work required
- Workplace is noisy from sales floor and production area activities
- Bright lighting throughout front and back of store; ability to work in this environment is required
- Regular interactions with customers, donors, and coworkers; effective communication skills needed
- Task and department flexibility – employees may be asked to switch duties based on operational needs
- English is the primary language used for instructions and communication; basic understanding of written and spoken English required
