Part Time Retail Sales Associate

Overview

We’re looking for a Part Time Retail Sales Associate who creates outstanding customer experiences, drives sales, and supports store operations during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role reports to the Store Manager and works closely with the Assistant Store Manager and other team specialists.

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer needs.
• Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention.
• Assist with opening and closing of the store retail environment.
• Handle cash properly.
• Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos.
• Support fellow sales agents as needed.
• Continuously expand knowledge of current product offerings through regular training.
• May be required to work in other locations within the same geographic area.

Variable total compensation is targeted at $57,172 per year ($27.49/hr). Top earners (top 10%) average over $74,455 ($35.80/hr). Compensation includes a full-time hourly base rate of $19.00/hr plus monthly targeted commissions of $1,471. Employees receive a ramp period of up to 2 months to adjust to commission earnings. Hourly pay range: $18.32 – $27.45/hr.

• HS diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to meet sales, retention, and customer experience targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative selling
• Ability to build relationships with a diverse customer base
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment
• Physical ability to be mobile within the store for long periods
• Computer literacy with aptitude for learning communication products and services
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to lift 25‑50 pounds to manage stock room inventory

• Some college experience focused on sales, business, or management
• One year of experience in a related field (sales, retail sales, service industry)
• Experience selling wireless/mobile products
• Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken)
