Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Mon, Tue, Sun 02:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other sensitive areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to site rules.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or medical location concerns in a clear and timely manner, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes morgue areas.
- Must be able to restrain individuals.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
