What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

* Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at designated access points while following site protocols for entry, visitor processing, and restricted area access.

* Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.

* Assist with monitoring entrances, lobbies, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement throughout the location.

* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions, documenting concerns, and communicating security-related issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

* Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.

* A current guard card and/or license is preferred.

* The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
