Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule: Fri – 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM;
Sat – 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM;
Sun – 02:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at designated access points while following site protocols for entry, visitor processing, and restricted area access.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
- Assist with monitoring entrances, lobbies, and high‑traffic areas to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement throughout the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions, documenting concerns, and communicating security‑related issues to appropriate personnel.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
