PositionSecurity Overnight Officer - Hospital Patrol
Location: Escondido, CA
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Schedule- Mon: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
- Tue: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
- Fri: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
- Sat: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
- Sun: 10:30 PM – 07:00 AM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
- Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions, access‑related questions, and other routine support while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, follow post orders, and report policy violations and/or suspicious activity.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Must be able to restrain individuals, as appropriate.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
