Armed Security Shift Lead

Allied Universal seeks an Armed Security Hospital Shift Lead to supervise security operations in a healthcare environment. In this role, you will lead a team of officers, coordinate post assignments, and ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and Allied Universal procedures. Duties include conducting patrols, managing incident response, completing detailed reports, and serving as primary contact for hospital staff. You will coach and train officers, support new hires, and model professional conduct.

This position requires strong communication, sound judgment under pressure, and strict adherence to weapons, use-of-force, and confidentiality protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise armed security officers on assigned hospital shift
• Coordinate post assignments and ensure adequate coverage across hospital areas
• Conduct regular patrols, safety checks, and access control monitoring
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following hospital protocols
• Prepare clear and accurate incident, activity, and shift reports
• Serve as primary security contact for hospital staff, patients, and visitors
• Train, coach, and mentor security officers on procedures and standards
• Enforce hospital policies, regulations, and use-of-force guidelines
• Ensure compliance with weapons handling, licensing, and safety requirements
• Assist with investigations, CCTV review, and evidence documentation as needed
