The City of San Diego is looking for an Electrician. This position involves installing, testing, and replacing various electrical and electronic components. The salary range is $86,756.80 - $ annually. This job is located in San Diego, CA.
Minimum requirements include either successful completion of a state-accredited four or five-year Electrician Apprenticeship Program or five years of full-time experience in all phases of work as a journey-level Electrician, with a focus on commercial or industrial wiring, installation, and repair of electrical conduit systems.
Additional desirable qualifications include possession of a valid State of California Electrician Certification, a valid California Crane Operator Certificate, a valid California Class A or Class B Driver License, and experience in wiring and rewiring buildings, among other things.
The screening process will involve an automated evaluation system, reference checks, fingerprinting, and possibly a polygraph examination or background investigation. All screening processes must be successfully completed before employment begins.
