The City of Escondido is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II in the Public Works Department. Work involves maintenance of streets, parks, signs, irrigation and related facilities with supervision and potential progression from Technician I to II after training and performance milestones.
Incumbents perform physical, semi-skilled labor using hand and power tools, operate light equipment, drive small vehicles and work with a team to complete assigned projects in a safe manner.
