Rack Systems HVAC​/R Service Technician

Cool Sys is seeking a skilled Rack Systems HVAC/R Service Technician to support commercial, industrial, and mission-critical customers. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex rack refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, commissioning systems, and accurately documenting work. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R and rack refrigeration systems at customer sites
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and system inspections to maximize uptime and efficiency
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues using tools, meters, and schematics
• Start up, commission, and optimize rack systems for performance and energy efficiency
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service software
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch on status, findings, and repair options
• Follow all Cool
• Sys and customer safety policies, codes, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with mentoring junior technicians and support continuous technical training
