We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the leadership of our home health clinical team. This role is responsible for assisting in the oversight of daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to nursing and allied health staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in overseeing daily clinical operations and home health services.
- Supervise nursing, respiratory therapy, and allied health staff.
- Ensure quality patient care and compliance with the agency's plan of care.
- Support staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Promote agency policies, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico or eligibility for licensure.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
- Previous home health experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs), state regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
