RN (Registered Nurse) - Medical Surgical Floor - Espanola, NM. This position involves utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care during night shifts. The role focuses on ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care across a variety of patients, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation. Collaboration with the healthcare team and patient/family is essential to coordinate care and meet discharge needs.

Additionally, the nurse will oversee the clinical supervision of licensed practical nurses and non-licensed assistive personnel, adhering to protocols and standards of care throughout each shift.

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid Nursing license in the State of New Mexico or a Compact State, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross, and at least two (2) years of current experience in medical-surgical nursing or a related specialty; one previous 13-week travel assignment is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with EPIC electronic health records; training available on-site.
• Skills:
  
  Patient care, nursing process, medication administration, protocol documentation, clinical supervision.
• Additional Information:
  Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required. The position entails clinical responsibilities including assessment, care planning, medication administration, and supervision to ensure quality patient outcomes.
