£30 per hour (Umbrella)

Fully On-site

• Manage, promote, and improve local waste reduction and recycling programs.

• Kerbside compliance monitoring of our waste and recycling contractor.
• Customer and contractor engagement and education to promote all aspects of recycling and waste minimisation.
• Handling public contact via telephone and emails, as well as undertaking administrative and operational tasksto support the effective and efficient operation of the Council waste and recycling service.
• Introducing, supporting and promoting food waste collection provisions to communal properties.
• Auditing of communal bin stores sites and installation of additional recycling provisions, customer engagement and education.

• Background experience in waste management is essential.
• Builds wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organisation.
• Full driving licence essential and access to personal vehicle.
