Farm Operative

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Farm Operative to join our team. This is a varied, hands‑on role suited to someone with strong agricultural knowledge who is confident operating farm machinery.

• Operating tractors, telehandlers and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently
• Carrying out general farm duties and supporting day-to-day operations
• Assisting with seasonal work, including cultivation, harvesting and maintenance
• Completing routine machinery checks and reporting faults
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and crop welfare
• Working independently and as part of the wider team

The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience in a similar agricultural or farm-based role
• Proven experience driving tractors and operating a telehandlers
• Good practical knowledge of farming and agricultural operations
• A flexible and dependable approach to working hours, particularly during busy periods
• The ability to work safely, responsibly and with minimal supervision
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A valid driving licence
• Relevant machinery certificates or licences are desirable
