Fire Alarm Certification & Compliance Coordinator - Contract
Brentwood, Essex
Outside IR35 | 6-Month Contract | Immediate Start
I'm currently looking for someone with a background in fire alarm systems to support a national Fire & Security company on a 6-month contract based in Brentwood, Essex.
This is an office-based role focused on reviewing fire alarm certification, checking completed works and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.
Ideally looking for someone with a good understanding of fire alarm systems, strong computer skills and previous experience working with fire alarm certification.
The role will involve:- Reviewing and verifying fire alarm certificates
- Checking completed works and supporting documentation
- Ensuring certification meets BS 5839 requirements
- Identifying errors or missing information on certificates
- Liaising with engineers regarding certification queries
- Updating and maintaining compliance records
- Supporting the technical team with general documentation and compliance
- Previous experience within the fire alarm industry
- Good understanding of BS 5839
- Knowledge of fire alarm certification and documentation
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Experience with fire alarm servicing, commissioning or compliance would be beneficial
- FIA qualifications advantageous but not essential
- 6-month contract
- Outside IR35
- Monday to Friday
- Office-based in Brentwood, Essex
- Day rate negotiable depending on experience
- Immediate start available
