Cosmetologist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cosmetologist role based in Estero, FL. The Cosmetologist will provide a full range of hair services, including consultations, cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. Daily responsibilities include greeting clients, performing thorough consultations, recommending products and services, maintaining a clean and sanitary work station, and managing appointments and schedules. The Cosmetologist will educate clients on hair care routines, recommend retail products, and support salon promotions and upselling in a professional, ethical manner.

The role also involves collaborating with other salon professionals, following all health and safety regulations, and participating in ongoing training or workshops to refine skills.

• Current Florida cosmetology license in good standing, with practical experience in hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments and more.
• Strong client service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Ability to recommend appropriate services and retail products based on client needs, preferences, and hair health.
• Commitment to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with state and local regulations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, manage back-to-back appointments, and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Interest in ongoing professional development, staying current with new trends, techniques, and products in hair and beauty.
• Previous experience in a salon environment ia required
