Are you a veteran machinist who’s ready to step into leadership without losing your connection to the machines? We’re looking for a 2nd Shift Working Supervisor who can bridge the gap between “high‑level strategy” and “making chips.”

• The Best of Both Worlds: Spend part of your time leading/mentoring and part of your time on the machines (CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Manual Machines).
• The 4-Day Grind: Work 10 1/2‑hour shifts Monday through Thursday. Willing to work 1 Saturday (5 hours) per month when needed.
• Shift Premium: Includes a competitive shift differential on top of a leadership hourly rate.

• Drive Production: Manage the workflow for the 2nd shift team, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is flawless.
• Technical Support: Act as the “go‑to” for complex setups, G‑code edits, and machining challenges.
• Quality Watchdog: Perform first‑article inspections and troubleshoot part deviations before they become scrap.
• Team Mentor: Train junior machinists on best practices, shop safety, and the finer points of precision machining.
• Shift Handoff: Coordinate with the 1st shift supervisor to ensure a seamless transition of work‑in‑progress.

• Machining Mastery: 8‑10+ years of experience across CNC Lathes and Mills.
• Natural Leadership: You’re the person people naturally go to when they have a technical question. You lead by example, not by ego.
• Shop Math Pro: Expert‑level blueprint reading (GD&T) and trigonometry.
• Reliability: You’re the anchor for the night crew—reliable, decisive, and calm under pressure.
