You'll be mentored by experienced engineers and machinists, but we expect you to drive your own growth.

• Learn our casting, machining, and bonding processes for babbitt and metal bearings - then find ways to improve them
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects using Lean and 5S principles
• Analyze production data - cycle times, scrap, yield - and present findings
• Develop and improve existing production areas
• Resolve manufacturing and safety issues
• Implements the most efficient use of current tooling and personnel to maximize production without reducing quality
• Work alongside machinists and operators daily; the shop floor is your classroom
• Take on projects independently as your knowledge grows

• B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Materials Engineering (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
• Genuine curiosity about how things are made - internship, co-op, lab, or shop experience is a plus, not a must
• Ability to read engineering drawings; basic CAD exposure (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Comfortable working in a production environment - this is a hands-on, shop-floor role
• Strong problem-solving instincts
• Self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what needs fixing
• Eagerness to learn
