RN Team Lead LPG Family Practice Estero

Location: University Highlands, 19511 Highland Oaks Drive, Estero, FL 33928 (Near Miromar Outlets)

Department: Lee Physician Group (LPG) Family Practice

Work Type: Full Time (80 hours bi-weekly)

Shift: Days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday);
Flexible to meet patient and business needs

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $33.37 - $45.05 / hour

• Provide, oversee, and coordinate nursing care for patients within a complex department or highly procedural area following American Nursing Association standards and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards.
• Ensure the safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving while serving as clinician, teacher, researcher, team leader and professional development.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and lean performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive patient outcomes.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of relevant RN experience in area of specialty required.
• Certification: Certification in appropriate specialty preferred. PALS/ACLS as appropriate for specialty within 90 days of employment. BLS required.
• License: State of Florida RN license.
• Other: Project management and quality improvement experience preferred. Above-average communication skills. Adaptable and participative with technology changes.
