Are you an LPN with outpatient nursing experience? If so we invite you to apply to our full‑time LPN position at our Internal Medicine Office at our Coconut Point location.

• Phone Triage
• Nurse Visits
• Coumadin Clinic
• In‑basket tasks through Epic
• Provide an excellent customer experience while ensuring patient care is delivered safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Collect patient health data and safely deliver and document selected acts such as administration of treatments and medications.
• Collect data either directly or telephonically in a systematic and ongoing manner, based on patient response to treatments, medications and changes in condition.
• Implement patient care and patient education, following providers’ orders or under the guidance and discretion of a registered nurse, while incorporating knowledge of the patient’s age and cultural diversity.
• Ensure the care delivered is safe and meets the requirements of the Florida Nurse Practice Act, licensure, regulatory agencies and Lee Health policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally, educate patients and collaborate with other health‑care team members to achieve desired patient outcomes.

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program required.
• Physician Practice/Outpatient experience preferred.
• BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) required. A 30‑hour IV course may be required based on specialty.
• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Florida.
• Above average written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable and participative with technological changes.
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
• Early/late hours or weekends may be required.
