Food Service Worker​/Cashier

Position Summary

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER with Hertz Global in Estero, FL. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday day shift, no weekends or nights, with a fixed pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

• Perform cashiering duties and general food service work.
• Maintain sanitation standards in preparation, service and dining areas.
• Prep work: wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolve complaints in a service‑oriented way.
• Handle sales transactions: enter sales into the cash register, make change, accept various payment methods, issue receipts, and follow procedures for cash refunds.
• Manage change funds and cash receipts to meet overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while keeping the service area clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred:
Previous deli or fast food service worker experience. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
