Scent Stylist​/Retail Sales Associate PART TIME

Do you have retail experience? Do you enjoy teaching others and interacting with customers? Do you like candles and fragrances? Do you want to make $16/hr. plus tips (Scent Stylists have been averaging $20/hr.)?

If 'yes', then apply to be a Scent Stylist at Sea Love Candle Bar and Boutique at Coconut Point Mall! Candle making experience is not necessary.

We have shifts available:
Weekdays & Saturdays 10 am – 3 pm and 3 pm – 8 pm and Sundays 11 am – 6 pm. Flexibility to cover other shifts during the week as needed is ideal. Must be at least 21 years of age as beer and wine are available for purchase by customers while making a candle.

Seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable individual to join our team as a Scent Stylist. The Scent Stylist will greet and welcome customers with a friendly smile and invite them to make their custom scented candle or reed diffuser at the Sea Love candle bar. They will lead customers (sometimes large parties of 16-18 people) through the scent blending experience.

• Assist customers in fragrance exploration/blending and guide them through the steps of making their own candle or reed diffuser.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Refill and clean fragrance oil bottles, vessel wall, and retail displays.
• Fill wax melter(s), pour hot candle wax, and set up bar trays.
• Trim wicks and clean customer candles and diffusers with aesthetic care.
• Execute proper procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate in a team environment to brainstorm new ideas to generate growth.
• Style merchandise displays; maintain a clean and appealing store environment.
• Utilize POS systems effectively for processing sales and managing inventory.
• Exhibit a friendly and positive attitude toward customers, co-workers, and owner.
• Restock shelves as needed and conduct product inventory and store maintenance.
